BRIEF:Pitchfork worked with Steve Gullick to photograph The 1975 for their August ‘22 cover story, with a focus on Matty Healy
The concept was a cheeky take on what it’s like for the band to constantly be reading about themslves in the paper espeically in the wake of their new album. SOLUTION:We created custom The 1975 newspapers, as used them as both props as as texture in various settings, referencing both respectable periodicals, and notorious tabloids.Photo: Steve Gullick.
